How to Install Counter-Strike 1.6
Under 5 minutes, works on Windows 7 through 11.

Download the installer
Click the download button on the home page. The installer is a single .exe file, roughly 380 MB. Save it anywhere — the Downloads folder is fine.

Run the installer
Double-click Warzonecs_setup.exe. Windows SmartScreen may show a warning (the installer isn't signed with a commercial certificate). Click "More info" then "Run anyway".

Choose the install location
Default is C:\WarzoneCS. You can change it, but pick a folder without spaces or Cyrillic characters in the path.

Wait for extraction
The installer extracts game files. Usually 60–90 seconds on an SSD, 2–3 minutes on an HDD.

Launch the game
A desktop shortcut is created automatically. Double-click it. First launch takes an extra 10 seconds while the engine initialises.

Find a server and play
From the main menu, click "Find Servers" → "Internet". You should see 1,000+ live servers. Pick one with 10–20/32 players for the best experience and click "Join".
Notes
• Older game engines like GoldSrc aren't always recognised by newer antivirus software. If yours blocks the installer, add the install folder to its exclusions.
• The installer works on Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10 and 11 (both x86 and x64). Not tested on Windows Server variants.
